We feel like kids on Christmas Morning!!

So we were driving home from soccer practice tonight and we looked over and there were three deers roaming a neighborhood. Of course, being the Texans that we are, we had to go around the block and get closer so we could get a picture of them.

Apparently, the natives here don't think they are that great as they eat their bushes, but we think it is the coolest thing ever. We just get excited seeing all these new things...snow, deer, no one locking their doors!

I think that of the three things you mentioned- snow, deer, and not locking your doors, I'm most envious of the not-locking-your-door part. Wow--what would that be like? If I even think about not locking my door (which I don't) I just have to think back to the fugitive that was on the loose in our neighborhood about a year ago. We had the Ghetto Bird, various state and federal agents roaming around with flashlights--fun times!! The deer pictures are awesome!

I just love all the pictures what a great way to end a soccer practice. Thats neat there is somewhere in the world where you dont have to lock your doors.

I just saw a deer on my way home from work.....north of Grace, on the side of the road.......not moving, you get the picture. We watched Nick play soccer in Pocatello tonight, got beat 3-1. Kim was there too, he is staying overnight at Leigh and Jeb's with his kids. Newsflash from Chris, Aly will be moving in with him Monday. has her signed up for school already. He is in Aspen for a wedding this weekend. Will find out more later.

HEY HANSEN FAM!!! It's Kim Champion, I found your blog through Patty's. Rand and I were just talking about you today (and all our friend in Corpus Christi since Hurricane Ike is heading towards Texas) and we were wondering if y'all were still there. Now we know you're in Montana. I'm glad you have a blog!!!

Hey Hansen's! It's Tara, Patty's daughter from Corpus. It's been a while since I've seen you guys, as I haven't lived in Corpus for a while now. I love the blog and the deer, how cool is that. I can see myself now, getting out of the car and run down by a deer. hee hee
